ST. LOUIS – Stifel Financial Corp. will provide $5,000 in stock grants to half of its employees, the company announced Wednesday.
Approximately 4,200 employees will receive the one-off restricted shares to increase the number of Stifel employee shareholders. Qualified new employees are eligible for a similar award, the company said in a press release.
“We believe fostering a responsible mindset has been an integral part of our more than two decades of growth and success,” Chairman and CEO Ron Kruszewski said in a statement.
The announcement follows a record year for the St. Louis-based company. Stifel reported that its earnings soared to $789.3 million in fiscal 2021, a 66% boom from 2020. Revenue rose 26% to $4.7 billion.
