CHESTERFIELD — Dierbergs this week lifted mask requirements for store workers, citing new guidance from the federal government.
The decision coincided with the end of mask mandates in St. Louis County and Illinois.
Schnucks, the other major grocer in the area, did the same for shoppers, employees and clerks in stores across the area, except for those in St. Louis, which has a mask requirement until at least March 6. Staff and vendors have also done the same by dressing up in the Carbondale store.
