Terry Rozier scores 29 points, Hornets beat Cavaliers 119-98 | NBA

CLEVELAND (AP) — Terry Rozier scored 29 points and carried Charlotte’s backfield into foul trouble with LaMelo Ball leading the Hornets to a 119-98 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night.

Cleveland recalled All-Star Darius Garland but lost for the fifth time in six games.

Rozier added seven assists and seven rebounds, and Isaiah Thomas scored 10 points on his debut for Charlotte. The Hornets made 17 3-pointers and improved to 3-11 since January 28.

The Cavaliers, plagued by injuries in their backcourt, welcomed Garland back after missing three games with a bruised bone in his back. Garland had 33 points in 33 minutes.

Cleveland coach JB Bickerstaff was hit with two technical fouls in the third quarter and ejected by umpire Natalie Sago.

PACER 122, MAGIC 114, OT

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Malcolm Brogdon had 31 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists and Indiana overcame a 15-point deficit in the fourth quarter, beating Orlando in overtime.

Tyrese Haliburton had 21 pints and six assists. He scored five of Indiana’s 12 points in overtime.

Franz Wagner led Orlando with 28 points.
