CHESTERFIELD – Build-A-Bear introduces a new concept in St. Louis.
The St. Louis-based retailer will open its first Build-A-Bear Adventure venue in the Chesterfield Valley later this month. The concept combines the usual workshop shop with a bakery, arcade and private spaces for parties, school trips, baby and bridal showers and team building events.
The company is also planning regular weekday events at the new location, including Camp Cupcake on Monday and Wednesday, where guests can decorate and eat a jumbo cupcake, and Adventure Days on Tuesday and Thursday, featuring arts and crafts and other activities.
“Build-A-Bear Adventure is the ultimate party destination and brings the fun of Build-A-Bear Workshop to life in a new and exciting way,” said Chris Hurt, the company’s Chief Operations Officer.
The store at 17353 Edison Avenue is scheduled to open on March 21. Build-A-Bear spokeswoman Emily Fuhrman said guests will be able to start booking visits next week at www.buildabear.com/adventure-store.
